John 14:1-6

God is the Creator. He created man from the dust of the earth and He breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being (Genesis 2:7). And He gave us, His created beings, the law which we are to live by. We can only live by the law of life given by God. But man sinned and brought a curse upon himself. ‘God said to him, “By the sweat of your brow you will eat your food until you return to the ground, since from it you were taken; for dust you are and to dust you will return.”’ Genesis 3:19. God said that each one of us will die and return to the ground, and there is no one who can escape this, for it is the final destination of each person (Genesis 3:19). Our lives can be compared to a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes. Likewise, we dwell on this earth for a short time, and then our bodies return to the ground, and our souls return to God. God’s purpose in forming man is for Him to be glorified through us. Those who glorify Him on this earth will be able to live with Him forever in heaven. But those who do not acknowledge Him as their creator will bring the wrath of God upon themselves. Hence not knowing God is sin. The result of sin and not knowing God is eternal punishment and torment in the unquenchable fire of hell. But God so loved the world that He gave His only Son, Jesus Christ as the sacrifice for our sins. "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.” John 3:16-17. Many people are not aware that they are spiritual beings and that they will live for eternity. There is no real truth in this world. The only truth that we can trust in is the Word of God. It is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow. It cannot be changed from the beginning to the end. Therefore He is our faith and our trust. We shouldn’t live only for our physical lives, but for our spiritual lives. We should be very careful how we live and we should prepare for the time of our soul continually until we die.
