They prune the branches after picking persimmons. Last autumn, I was worried seeing the branches that were cut. Will the tree bear persimmons next year? But my fears proved groundless. Through the cold weather in winter and hot sunny days of summer, the tree grew well and was covered with its fruits this fall. The fallen fruits are going to be food for animals. When frost comes upon the fruits, they will taste sweeter because of the frost. They must hang on the branches through that time. When I see a persimmon tree that bears fruit every year, I look forward to enjoying solid fruits in the time of soul – as long as I keep my place and communicate to others the love of the cross.
