The first step to meet God is to repent of sin. The word ‘repent’ means that you have hope to live by turning from the sins of which you should die, that you shall love your souls. A foolish man tries to hide his sins and unrighteousness. To cover and hide his sin is hypocrisy.
If you entertain the sin in you, I urge you to solve your sin by confessing before God. We shouldn’t leave any sin in us in the truth. The sins which are hidden will be clearly revealed when you stand before the judge on the judgment day.
The devil tries hard to bring us to the judgment seat by tempting us to commit sin. When we live on earth, we should completely repent our sins without any sin in us. The happiest person in the world is the one who repents their sin. Those who solved the sin in them are happy. Blessed are those who realize the truth by confessing unrighteousness and repenting of their sin.
Jesus didn’t come to the world to rebuke humans but to save His people by solving the problem of sins. That’s why the Lord meets all who confess their sin. We will trust a person who is honest, not hiding their faults before people. Likewise, God forgives such a person and uses them for His work. However, many Christians who pretend to be perfect, saying “I am an elder, I am a deacon”. They try to save face and their own righteousness.
There’s no reason that God should use those who claim to be righteous and He doesn’t use them at all. No one including pastors, elders and laypeople can avoid committing sin because they live in the flesh. That’s why everyone needs Jesus.
