There are a lot of people who are happy in the world eating well, wearing well and living in luxury. They fill the thirst of lust with self-gratification, but never feel the hunger and thirst of their souls.

But those who pray, those who diligently attend worship, those who desire the word, and those who are faithful feel thirsty for the spiritual goal of the crown of heaven. Those who work hard for evangelism have thirst for saving souls. How desperate is a man without such spiritual thirst?

We should be filled with holy spiritual thirst. We can enjoy the blessing of righteousness that God gives us, just as we live according to the word of God, loyal to the Lord's work, the thirsty seek the water, and the hungry seek the food.

The work is given to those who want to be loyal, and those who long for the word of God hears the word. It tells us that their spiritual thirst and hunger are being resolved.
The church is the place where the Lord is going to work, the one who is thirsty in the Lord's work comes. In other words, those who are spiritually hungry and thirsty are coming.

Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” (John 14:6)

Are you starved? By what? What do you need? First, you must repent of your dirty sin before the Lord. Then the Lord will instantly resolve your thirst and hunger. Just as a person who finds an oasis in the desert is hurriedly drinking water to live, the Lord is for those who thirst for Him and seek Him. The Lord is for those who repent and those who hunger and thirst for righteousness. Those who are spiritually sick, who are cursed, those who suffer pain and those who know that they would go to hell can be occupied by the Lord. Let’s quench our spiritual thirst with Jesus.
