The word disturbance means that someone is interrupting another's work or badly speaking about others. In other words, disturbance means speaking badly of others to stop their work.
Jesus told that something that actually makes people unclean is not eating food with unclean hands but things came out from the inner heart of the person. He pointed out one of the examples as the disturbance. As well as this, those who received the Holy Spirit and were born again should give up old habits. Lord pointed out one of the old habits as slandering (Ephesus 4:31).
The disturbance comes from evil personalities like selfishness and egoism. Therefore, we should produce godly things and live by the Holy Spirit to remove disturbances that come from bodily desire. It would be frustrating when you outwardly say that you do godly work and actually produce worldly things and pursue worldly values.
Spiritually, the disturbance is the characteristic of sin and the working of demons. The Devil destroys the personality of humans and disturbs their relationship with God as well as the relationship of people and interrupts people's work to make things got failed. The Devil disturbs all things by any person or in any way.
During the public ministry of Jesus, He performed miracles, signs, and powers without any limit by the Holy Spirit. Then the Devil tried to disturb His work using the Jews. Jesus drove out demons, made the lame work, healed the lepers, made the blind see, cured the paralyzed, and raised the dead. However, the Pharisees and the teachers of the law said that Jesus insulted God and drove out demons by the power of the Beelzebul. They discussed how they could kill Jesus. Likewise, the Devil always disturbs the works of the Lord. We should not be deceived by the Devil's disturbance.
