James 1:5~8

God promised that if we ask for anything in His name, He would do it and help us, His children (John 14:13~14). God, who said to ask, isn't partial, so He will surely answer those who know Him, believe His promise and ask Him. It means that we can pray and receive the answers from Him. However, many don't pray to Him even though they have many impossibilities, because they don't believe in God. They also think that prayer is only for some special people, so they pass themselves over. What a pitiful situation it is! God sent His only Son to this world for every man; not just for a few (John 14:13~14). “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” (John 3:16). The relationship between God and man was restored by Jesus Christ, and we are permitted to seek Him by prayer. God knew that man fell into despair because of sin and said to us to repent through Jesus Christ. The first prayer of man is repentance (Matthew 4:17). Sin is from the devil and the wages of sin causes curses, poverty, disease, death and hell. All kinds of impossibilities and unhappiness of man come from sin. So if we don't solve our sin, we can't be free from our problems. Money, fame and authority can't solve our sin problem. Jesus, who was God, came into this world as a servant and died on the cross, shedding His blood for those who confess their sin and repent by His blood. If you don't repent before Him, bringing Him your sin problem, you have no part with Him. You can repent when you accept Jesus Christ and you will be set free from your sin physically and spiritually. God is obligated to answer us according to the promise He had made. Jesus also prayed with loud cries and tears to God the Father (Hebrews 5:7). Prayer is the only way for us to let our problems reach God and for them to be solved by God. You can ask for whatever you want without any limitation in prayer - the things of heaven, the world, spirit or body. But if you ask with the wrong motives, in order to satisfy your pleasures, you won't receive the answer (James 4:3). Ask God in order to glorify Him, for the time of soul and to change the world around you. Never doubt, and believe His promises and pray to Almighty God. Then, in His timing, He will give us the answers and work for us (James 1:5~8). To not pray is to ignore Him and to be full of pride. The best prayer is to ask only God's will. Not my will; but God's will. Prayer will be rewarded. If you are faithful to the point of death, according to the Word of God, you will receive the crown of life from the Lord (Revelation 2:10, 1 Corinthians 4:1~2). We can overcome the working of the devil with the help of God by prayer (1 Peter 5:8~9, 1 Timothy 4:1~2, 1 Peter 4:7). “In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groans that words cannot express. And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints in accordance with God's will.” Romans 8:26~27. Let's pray in the Holy Spirit (Jude 1:20) and be filled with the Holy Spirit. The man of the flesh never prays. But that is ignorance, arrogance and the mind of sinful man that leads to death. He doesn't belong to Christ (Romans 8:5~9). The devil uses our sinful mind to be hostile to God with the mind of death. Therefore, we should pray in the Holy Spirit and become the man of life. Dear brothers and sisters, let's pray to solve our sin, and the sufferings caused by sin, and let your misfortune be changed into happiness. Let's pray to overcome all the evil spirits which make us not to pray, evangelize and serve God's work in our lives; and live happily in heaven with the Lord. Let's live with the answer and the help of God without resting.
