"Brothers, think of what you were when you were called. Not many of you were wise by human standards; not many were influential; not many were of noble birth. But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong. He chose the lowly things of this world and the despised things - and the things that are not - to nullify the things that are, so that no one may boast before him. It is because of him that you are in Christ Jesus, who has become for us wisdom from God - that is, our righteousness, holiness and redemption. Therefore, as it is written: "Let him who boasts boast in the Lord.'" 1 Corinthians 1:26~31. God so loved the world that He gave His one and only son Jesus Christ to this world and saved man who was doomed to perish forever due to sin. The church is a gathering those who have been saved from sin, curses, death and hell. They gather at church to give thanks to God and to praise and serve Him. They also gather to evangelize those who will go to hell because don't know God's great grace of salvation through Jesus Christ. God calls them as His evangelists to save many souls. Evangelism is the greatest mission since the beginning of time. It is to preach the grace of Jesus' love even to the point of death (Acts 1:8, Matthew 28:18~20) and to save the souls who dying and going to hell (John 6:38~40). God didn't choose those of influence, high positions and noble birth for His purposes; but He chose the foolish and weak things of the world (1 Corinthians 1:26~29). This is because He planned to use them to preach the gospel only by the wisdom, knowledge and power of the Holy Spirit (John 14:26, John 15:26, Acts 1:8). It's God's will to use the foolish to save those who are wise and influential by human standards, but are against Him and misunderstand Him (1 Corinthians 1:18, Acts 2:37-41). God wanted Jesus' disciples to believe with certainty that Jesus was working with them through the Holy Spirit.  Therefore, the church's work should only be done by the Holy Spirit through the people of the Holy Spirit (Acts 20:28). The working of the Holy Spirit is to preach the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ and to win as many souls as possible. The greatest thing in this world is the love of Jesus Christ on the cross, and evangelism to preach the Gospel with Jesus' blood by the Holy Spirit, and to save many dying souls. It's the most important thing that we cannot neglect. Therefore, those who are entrusted with evangelism should preach the working of Jesus' blood on the cross, which has already saved us from sin by His death. Our fathers of faith did this with thanksgiving even to the point of persecution and death. Evangelism is more important than life. If you limit yourself in evangelism, you are the one who disobeys God's calling, and who doesn't know the grace of salvation on the cross, and that souls are dying without Jesus Christ. In other words, you don't know the purpose of Jesus' death on the cross even though you are attending this service. Evangelism is to preach the grace of salvation through Jesus Christ. It's the greatest accomplishment to win souls by the Holy Spirit. It is also the greatest accomplishment for churches, and the hope of many dying souls to be saved. God uses those who try to have the same will as Him, even though they are weak and unwise, for His greatest mission. Dear brothers and sisters, let's achieve Jesus' request and let ourselves be used to win many souls by the Holy Spirit without limitation.
