The Grace from the Passion of Jesus

Isaiah 53:5~6

5 But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon him, and by his wounds we are healed. 6 We all, like sheep, have gone astray, each of us has turned to his own way; and the LORD has laid on him the iniquity of us all. God is Spirit (John 4:24), so we can't see Him. But He exists and has a personality. To let man know that this is true, God revealed Himself through the Word of God(John 6:63). The Spirit of God and the Word is God Himself (John 1:1). And the Word became flesh to fulfill what He said (John 1:14; Matthew 1:21~22; Isaiah 53:5~6). Jesus came to this world in flesh to save man from sin, curses, death and hell. He fulfilled this great mission through suffering and bodily death. The Son of God, Jesus, is God, but He made Himself nothing and was found in appearance as a man. He also humbled Himself and became obedient to death on the cross (Philippians 2:5~8). When He was in the world, His brothers and many people didn't know Him because that was God's will. Who would dare crucify Jesus if they realized that He is the Son of God? Jesus came to give His life as a ransom for many (Mark 10:45). The sacred birth of Jesus was the starting point of His suffering which He would take. Man is God's creation. Man has no ability to take charge of the wages of sin and to deal well with curses, diseases and physical suffering. We can't bear the punishment in hell that's also due to the wages of sin spiritually. God knew this and let Jesus, the One and Only Son of God, bears the responsibility of man's suffering because Jesus is the only one who could bear the responsibility for the wages of sin. The surest way to deal with man's suffering is by the working of Jesus' blood. God wanted to solve all man's misfortune like diseases and curses from sin, the devil, Satan and the evil spirits (Matthew 11:28, John 6:38~40). Sin is the resource of death which curses and kills man. Only the working of Jesus' blood can forgive our sin (Hebrews 9:12) and heal man from all diseases by His wounds (1 Peter 2:24). Therefore, the birth of Jesus is the beginning of contempt, lashing, false charge and death on the cross to solve man's all sufferings. After that, Jesus was raised from the dead and gives eternal life to those who repent from their sin in the name of Jesus and believe in Him. Prophets, angels, the devil and the evil spirits know that Jesus was the Son of God. But His people and the world didn't realize this (Matthew 4:1; Matthew 8:28~29; John 1:10~11). Jesus is the Son of God who moved us from eternal hell to heaven, the Savior who saved us from all suffering and the working of the devil and the bridegroom who is going to live with God's children born of water and the Spirit. He is the Savior who broke out sins, curses, diseases, death and hell throwing His body like a valiant warrior. Christmas is the day of the arrival of the Son of God to save us. How should we repay His grace? Make sure that you have His sacred birth by giving thanks and offering as much as you receive His grace. Thanks giving is like your testimony, evidence and shouting of joy for salvation.
