Ephesians 6:10~13

10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. 11 Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes. 12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. 13 Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Man sinned and was destined to go to hell as the wages of sin is death. But God loved man as his treasured possession, God wanted to save him so He sent His only Son, Jesus Christ, to die instead of him (John 3:16). Those who have been saved from the devil, sin, curses, death and hell may seem to belong to this world, but their souls belong to Jesus (1 Corinthians 6:15, 1 Corinthians 6:19). Jesus will keep their souls until they go to heaven (Jude 1:20-21). The devil is always prowling around like a lion, looking for someone to devour (Matthew 24:24, 1 Peter 5:7~8), so we should always be alert (Revelation 12:7~9, Revelation 12:17). Demons are our physical and spiritual enemy. They cause our bodies to get sick, and they try to influence our thoughts to make us abandon our faith so that they can drag us down to hell (1 Timothy 4:1~2, Mark 16:17~18). They use situations to make us unhappy, to tempt us, to make us offended, to make us hurt others, and to grumble against God. We should discern their working and overcome them. We cannot discern their working with our natural minds, but only through Jesus's almighty power can we do it (1 John 3:8, Ephesians 6:10~12). We must be in Jesus and put on the full armor of God so that we can take our stand against the devil's schemes. "For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms." (Ephesians 6:10~13). If we are defeated by evil we will suffer from sicknesses and curses and go to hell after we die. We should not be deceived by them. "They promise them freedom, while they themselves are slaves of depravity - for a man is a slave to whatever has mastered him" (2 Peter 2:19). But God has given us authority and commanded us to destroy the devil's work through the righteousness of His Word and by the working of Jesus' blood and Jesus' Name. Our faith lives are spiritual. We are battling with the enemy. The spiritual victory is receiving life by winning the victory over the devil. This victory is achieved by living in obedience according to the Word of God. This is the only way not to be deceived by the devil (Ephesians 6:12~13, Ephesians 6:14~20) and to stand firm before God until the end.
