People are constantly coming and going on a suspension bridge that crosses a river. The swaying movement of the bridge hurries their steps and sometimes stops them. There is a deep river under the bridge and a winding mountain above it. The river and the mountain welcome the people who are coming and going. We also cross the river in our lives and encounter mountains in front of us that we have to climb. When we walk along the path of this world’s hardships, we must walk bravely and prayerfully, holding the Lord’s hand, full of faith and of the hope of Heaven.
