[Shepherding the sheep with one heart] Courage that Plows up the Hard Soil

Jesus Christ is the Head over all the church (Ephesians 1:22, 5:23, Colossians1:18).  The church that is owned by man cannot develop.  Even after 10 or 20 years, such a church would never see revival.  If a revival did happen in that church, the church would encounter serious problems.  When somebody with courage is revolutionizing the church and making it God-centred, the people in that church will say all kinds of things.  Persecution will come upon the person who, like a farmer, ploughs up the tough soil in order to scatter seeds.

When a church’s established members are unkind to newcomers, the newcomer can’t lead a right faith life.  The established members speak ill of the newcomer behind his back when the newcomer works hard for the church after receiving the grace of God.  Speaking ill of people is the devil’s work to prevent revival of the church. The church in that state never grows. However, there will be revival in that church after they have overcome misunderstanding and persecution. We have to turn over our spirits like a thornbush that is chained by tradition and history.

No matter how skillful a farmer is, he can’t farm if he doesn’t have land. Likewise, we can’t live a life of faith if we don’t live in the flesh, even though we really want to live a life of faith. Our flesh is like a farmer’s farm. We should use our time diligently, knowing that the time of the flesh is the best opportunity to walk by faith.

We should have the wisdom that is given by God, not by the world. No-one can work with God by his own wisdom. Humans, however smart they are, can’t transcend the God who created humans. Therefore, we must obey the wise words of God Almighty.

When we have time and a good environment and we are healthy physically and spiritually, we have to live the life of faith in the right way. We shouldn’t neglect our inheritance, which is to be faithful to God. The time given by God should come into our godly possession. If you truly want the time of soul, you shouldn’t waste time. We have to hold tightly an anchor of spiritual hope for the time of soul, saving time.
