As I started ministry very late, I wanted to save time.
So I prayed day and night and I did not sleep well for a couple of years.
I really wanted to widen my jar in the eyes of the Lord.
I hoped to revive the church and believed that when I became the faithful jar,
God would use me by sending a lot of people to the church.
The jar is like the container to hug the people. Jesus was the immeasurable jar.
Jesus loves even those who hated, beat and killed him.
The first martyr, Stephen also loved those who tried to kill him because of the
gospel. He was praying, “Lord, do not hold this sin against them” (Acts 7:59-60).
He was able to love them because he had Jesus who loved the world.
How great was the Apostle Paul’s jar? Jesus said
“This man is my chosen instrument to carry my name before the Gentiles and
their kings and before the people of Israel” (Acts 9:15).
We must broaden our capabilities to resemble Jesus. If we want to receive
the great response from God, we should pray hard and broaden our jar without
limitation. We should broaden our jars greatly to accomplish the word “your
kingdom come.” The reason Jesus taught us how to pray was that He wanted us
to make ourselves into great jars which could hold the world.
We can receive His response when we become a person who deserves to
receive the answer. Do not complain about anything. But try to become the jar
which deserves to receive his love and answer. We must broaden our level.
Lord, may my jar be broader and clean!
