When God uses an evangelist, God sees their heart how they are aflame
with passion for winning souls. If those in attendance could live according to
the will of God, I also try to preach gospel, risking my life, with the mind of Jesus
that it’s okay even though I die while preaching.
The Lord Jesus eagerly wants to save souls, to save those who will go to hell for
their sins, so he desires that those who listen to the gospel are saved, even though
the evangelist could die while they preach the gospel. God hopes that no person on
earth goes into the fires of hell but have eternal life after being saved listening to
the gospel.
If the person who hears the gospel just listens to the gospel without knowing the
heart and mind of God, it is so heartbreaking that they ignore and break the heart
of God!
The Bible says,
“If someone doesn’t receive the teaching, although an evangelist taught them
according the word of God and their soul is destroyed, it is their responsibility.”
The word of the Lord came to me: ”Son of man, speak to your countrymen
and say to them: ”When I bring the sword against a land, and the people of
the land choose one of their men and make him their watchman, and he sees
the sword coming against the land and blows the trumpet to warn the people,
then if anyone hears the trumpet but does not take warning and the sword comes
and takes his life, his blood will be on his own head. Since he heard the sound of
the trumpet but did not take warning, his blood will be on his own head. If he had
taken warning, he would have saved himself. (Ezekiel 33:1-5)
Like a watchman who blows the trumpet to warn the people, we must preach
the word of God to our neighbors, with the mind of Jesus, without making any
adjustment. Those who hear the word of God must be obedient immediately
to the word.
