When you long for the Holy Spirit you can receive him

The Holy Spirit coming upon me means that God’s will to save people
by letting Jesus die by shedding his blood on the cross is fulfilled.
The amazing event of salvation has happened to me.

If you’re not prepared as the temple where the Holy Spirit lives,
you can’t have God the Holy Spirit in you. You have to repent of your sins
and be cleansed by the blood of Jess so that the Holy Spirit may come upon you.
When the Holy Spirit works within you, He will help you realize your sins.
When He points them out to you, you can’t avoid repenting.

Likewise, as the Holy Spirit convinces you of your sins, you will be forgiven
when you repent and you will receive the Holy Spirit when you long for Him.
The Bible promises that the Holy Spirit will be given to those who ask.
“If you then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children,
how much more will your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask
Him!” (Luke 11:13)

The climax of our life of faith is when we are qualified and capable to receive
the Holy Spirit. That’s why God compares us with the Holy temple where
the Holy Spirit lives.

“Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you,
whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought
at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies.” (1 Corinthians 6:19-20)

It’s amazing that I am the temple where God the Holy Spirit lives.
Since God has made me His Holy temple, I must try to live according to
His thoughts and inspiration, ensuring that there is nothing that grieves Him in me.
The Holy Spirit reveals His great work without limitation when I am with Him.
That is the infilling of the Holy Spirit.
