An Irresistible Command

  • 2014.12.15 14:28

God says that His commands lead to eternal life (John 12:49-50).
Therefore, he
who comes and goes when God commands him to come and go
is the one who lives forever in the time of soul.

Work given by God is the inheritance that God gives the spiritual person who is
obedient when God says, “Come” and “Go”. In the Bible, those who were blessed
were the ones who obeyed right away whenever God spoke to them.

Abraham obeyed God when God said to him, “Go from your country, your people
and your father’s household to the land I will show you” (Genesis 12:1).

If that happened today, I am sure that people would ask God, “If I go there, will
you bless me to live a better life? Where exactly are you sending me? You have
to tell me everything so that I can decide whether I will go or not.”

But Abraham didn’t say anything and just followed God wholeheartedly, trusting
him. Because he was obedient to God, he became the origin of the blessing that
all nations can be blessed, of the blessing to become a great nation even though
he was too old to have children.

There are no options regarding the word of God. You have to just say “Amen”
and obey God’s command. When he says, “Offer a gift,” you should offer it.
Pray and pray, serve the Lord and serve, preach the gospel and preach.
You have to use your body to carry out God’s work for the time of soul.

God will surely repay you for what you do.

The Lord God takes responsibility for those who obey him.
A true worker of God is the one who is obedient unconditionally.

He fills himself with the word of God and discards his own ideas,
theories and knowledge no matter what the circumstances are.
He is a wise man who fills his time of soul with wealth.
