Matthew 28:16-20

16 Then the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go. 17 When they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted. 18 Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

God righteousness is everlasting and is the source of life. Therefore, anyone who does not have the righteousness of God has no life. Anyone who has no life shall perish eternally as the Bible says “the wages of sin is death”. The first man Adam could continue his life when he was sinless before God. Right after becoming a sinner, he lost his righteousness and faced eternal death. Therefore, we will face eternal destruction unless we have God’s righteousness and life. God sent His Son to remove the sin problem and to give life to the full (John 10:10; 1 John 5:12). The Devil causes sin (1 John 3:8) holding the power of death (Hebrews 2:14-15) blocking us from God (Ephesians 6:12).

The wages of our sin is death no matter how big the sin is. People have highly developed the world’s civilization, but it cannot defend us from the destruction caused by sin. The heaviness of our sin is greater than our thoughts (Isaiah 59:1-3). God sent his Son Jesus Christ to solve the sin problem and to open relationship between Him and us. Jesus became a man of flesh and died on the cross shedding all His blood in order to pay the wages of all humans sin. Through Jesus, the wall of sin between God and us was completely removed (Hebrews 10:19-20).

Therefore, only Jesus is the way, the truth and the gate toward eternal life. Only He removed sin and gave us confidence to meet with God (John 14:6). Therefore, anyone who knows that they are a sinner, deserving eternal punishment shall repent and bow down before Jesus in order to be saved. The great work of Jesus blood has nothing to do with the one who does not repent of their sin. They should confess that they caused Jesus to die on the cross and repent truly before God to receive the grace of atonement. No one can be forgiven except through the blood of Jesus. Those who know God know Jesus Christ and thank Him for His grace. Jesus Christ sent the Holy Spirit and made us spread His grace to the ends of the earth. He wants all people to live happily in Heaven (Acts 1:8).

Anyone who received grace is compelled to preach the gospel and teach others the truth being empowered by the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 9:16). Those who preach the gospel are the true fellow workers of Jesus Christ. Jesus tore his body saying “Though I die, you shall live”. Jesus wants us to spread His work on the cross for dying souls. Only those who spread the gospel are those who love their neighbor just as God loves them. Only they know the preciousness of eternal life and the pain of eternal death. As the blind cannot lead the blind, those who do not understand the grace of salvation cannot become the person of Jesus. Jesus commissioned us to win souls. Those who obey His commission are disciples of Jesus. Spreading the work of Jesus' blood is fulfilling Jesus' commission for us (Matthew 28:16-20).
