Luke 16:19-31

God is the creator. “The LORD God formed the man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being.” Genesis 2:7. We are God’s creations, and He has given us the laws according to which we are to live. No one can live according to a way of life that is different to the one given to us by God. “The length of our days is seventy years-- or eighty, if we have the strength; yet their span is but trouble and sorrow, for they quickly pass, and we fly away.” Psalm 90:10. God said “For you were taken from dust, so you will return to it and will eat food by the sweat of your brow.” Genesis 3:19. No one can deny that death comes to all of us. We are beings who came from somewhere and one day we will return there - our flesh will return to the dust and our souls will return to God, since we are from God. The very reason why God formed us is for us to glorify Him and to live with Him forever. If you don’t know your creator, the Lord, this is sin. "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.” John 3:16-17. The purpose that the church invites you is that we want you to have a happy life. You are in great danger of going to hell if you don’t know what sin is. People are not aware of the fact that they are eternal spiritual beings who will live forever, and they only live for the here and now. There is no truth in the world - everything will vanish, decay and be changed, but the Word of God is the truth. He will never change from everlasting to everlasting, so He is our faith. The secular materialistic view completely destroys our life, thoughts and heart. It’s time for us to resettle our values in life to deny material civilization and time. We should prepare for the time of our soul while living on the earth. Please do not be deceived by anything, but be saved by believing in Jesus and live happily forever in heaven by knowing where we came from, where we will return to, and what we should live for.
