Luke 12:13~21

Someone in the crowd said to him, "Teacher, tell my brother to divide the inheritance with me." Jesus replied, "Man, who appointed me a judge or an arbiter between you?" Then he said to them, "Watch out! Be on your guard against all kinds of greed; a man's life does not consist in the abundance of his possessions." And he told them this parable: "The ground of a certain rich man produced a good crop. He thought to himself, 'What shall I do? I have no place to store my crops.' Then he said, 'This is what I'll do. I will tear down my barns and build bigger ones, and there I will store all my grain and my goods. And I'll say to myself, "You have plenty of good things laid up for many years. Take life easy; eat, drink and be merry." ' "But God said to him, 'You fool! This very night your life will be demanded from you. Then who will get what you have prepared for yourself?' "This is how it will be with anyone who stores up things for himself but is not rich toward God." Luke 12:13~21 God is the source of all kinds of blessing. Many people spend their lives searching for blessings without knowing what real blessings are. They think that blessings are things like money, fame, authority, wealth, honor, luxury and pleasure, so they spend all their time to get them. They may be satisfied and happy the moment they get them, but they are all useless in the end when they face death (Luke 12:16~21). Man's life lasts seventy or eighty years on average, but the souls in our bodies are spiritual beings which live forever. Therefore we should prepare for the time of soul. Man has to go to hell forever after he dies, because of the wages of the sin of not knowing God. Hell is a place full of eternal pain which never ends. Therefore, it is okay if we do not have any money, fame, wealth and honor in our lifetimes. The happiest man is the one who has faith in God having experienced the forgiveness of his sins, and is confident that he will go to heaven through the blood of Jesus Christ, who is the blessing of man's soul (Luke 16:19~31). Unfortunately, there are many who follow worthless things like money, fame and authority and they will die without being able to take these things with them. To live according to your own knowledge is the most ignorant thing in the world. What will happen to your soul? The days of man are like the wind, the clouds and the mist, we never know when or how our lives will end. Only God, who is the Creator and the ruler of life and death, knows this. It's useless crying to money, fame, social positions and technology for help. In the end, man's body dies and returns to the ground, and his soul goes to hell. Therefore, you should love your soul on this earth. The way to love your soul is to repent by the working of Jesus' blood on the cross, be saved and to live happily in heaven. But many people don’t realize this. Only after death, they will fully realize it when they are in hell. So, King Solomon, who was the wisest person in history, taught us this: "Utterly meaningless! Everything is meaningless!"(Ecclesiastes 1:1~4). Dear brothers and sisters, love your souls. Do you want to live only through Jesus Christ? As much as Jesus possesses you, you will be rich forever. Be happy getting out of sin on this earth by Jesus. Physical things will vanish when we die, but spiritual things are eternal. Don't waste your time for your body. Work for God for the time of soul and let it be your eternal inheritance.
