Let us fix our eyes on Jesus

Hebrews 11:1-6

1 Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see. 2 This is what the ancients were commended for. 3 By faith we understand that the universe was formed at God's command, so that what is seen was not made out of what was visible. 4 By faith Abel offered God a better sacrifice than Cain did. By faith he was commended as a    righteous man, when God spoke well of his offerings. And by faith he still speaks, even       though he is dead. 5 By faith Enoch was taken from this life, so that he did not experience death; he could not be found, because God had taken him away. For before he was taken, he was commended as one who pleased God. 6 And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.

God is eternal. God does not changing so what He promised is eternal, too.
Without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him. (Hebrews 11:6)

Let us fix our eyes on Jesus. Believing in the promised word of God is faith. "Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see. This is what the ancients were commended for. (Hebrews 11:1-2)

By faith Noah, built the ark to save his family.

1. The LORD had said to Abram, "Leave your country, your people and your father's household and go to the land I will show you. 2. "I will make you into a great nation and I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing. (Genesis12:1~2) Abram followed the word of God.

He as good as dead, got son. God made the son into a nation. Abram became the father of faith of us all. The Red Sea blocked the Israelites when Moses took them out of Egypt, but he only looked to God. (Exodus 14:15~16)

"... the Israelites can go through the sea on dry ground." As the Lord said, the Red Sea separated so that the Israelites could pass through the Red Sea as on dry land; but when the Egyptians tried to follow, they drowned.

God wants to work according to man's faith. God feels pity when man lacks faith.
God wants us to have great faith. On various occasions in the past according to the bible when man sinned he was destroyed.

God sent his only Son to this world to save human beings who were destined to be punished forever. God let his Son, Jesus Christ die on the cross shedding his blood to take away all  disease, sin, curses and eternal death. Jesus' death on the cross made a way for humans to b redeemed by faith.

Whoever looks to Jesus Christ by faith will be set free from sin, curses, disease and hell, the eternal death. Peter obeyed the Word of God and he walked on the water. But when he saw the wind, he was afraid and, began to sink. (Matthew 14:25~33)

When he looked to the Lord in faith, he walked on the water as on dry ground. But when he looked to the circumstances, he lost faith and sank into the water. We can be desperate when we look to present problems and events.

The devil always disturbs us not to look to the Lord, but to look to our present problems. We should overcome the enemy who disturbs us. We should look to the Lord.

The one who overcomes the devil, demons and Satan's work by faith and stands firm to the end will be saved. (Matthew 24:13)

When the blind man Bartimaeus, those with leprosy and all who were ill with various diseases looked to the Lord, they were healed and saved.

Those who are suffering from disease, those who became miserable because of poverty, and those who are in a desperate situation because of your children, husband, wife and parents, if you look at the problems you have, you will be discouraged like Peter.

Don't look at the suffering but look to Jesus who heals all your sufferings and solves all your problems by faith. Money, fame and power, these things will all disappear when you die. They are not the things that we should look to.

Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith is the one we should believe (Hebrews 12:1~2). Those who look to the Lord will reign with Christ for a thousand years (Revelation 20:4).

Those who have been beheaded because of their testimony of Jesus and because of the word of God, those who have not worshiped the beast or his image and have not received his mark on their foreheads or their hands. They will come to life and reign with Christ for a thousand years. Those who want to participate in the first resurrection have to be qualified as a holy bride.

Dear saints, let us be the bride who looks to the Lord who is the bridegroom and follow the Holy Spirit and God's word, the Bible.
