Thanksgiving, the Confession of those who Received Grace

Matthew 8:1-4

God is the creator of earth. He created Heaven and earth for his Son, Jesus Christ. The world is the mission field of Jesus Christ (Hebrews 1:2). God created the earth, and every creature (Colossians 1:15-17) so that humans can use them. He created humans in His own image, we are His masterpiece (Genesis 1:26-27). God was very pleased to see humans use and conquer all creatures on earth (Genesis 1:28-31). Humans are the most blessed creatures of God. They received the utmost of God’s grace for God let them subdue everything on earth and live happily.

God gave them the law to keep. Even in the worldly view, we can live freely if we keep the law because it will not punish us. On the other hand, we will be punished if we violate a law according to the gravity of the sin. God commanded the first man Adam not to eat from a tree that is in center of the garden. He said that he will surely die if he eats of it. But he was deceived by the devil and committed sin against God’s commandments. For the devil had violated God’s law from the beginning, it had been decided to be perished eternally (2 Peter 2:4; Judas 1:6).

Humans committed sin against God‘s law that made them face death (Genesis 3:4-6, 2:1-6). Their body was cursed to toil and have sweat on their brow for living (Genesis 3:18-19). After the end of their lives, they will fall into Hell and suffer eternal torture day and night (Matthew 25:41). To save the devastated humans, Jesus Christ bore our sin and died on the cross. For Jesus saved us from sin, curses and punishment in Hell, He is the savior of the entire human race. (John 3:16; Mark 10:45)

We were to be cursed and die eternally, but we can live and be blessed eternally. We were to be tortured in Hell forever, but we can live in happiness in Heaven. We were in the bondage of impossibility, but we became available in everything. Our position was completely changed. That is the greatest fruit to humans through the grace of Jesus Christ (Ephesians 2:1-7). Therefore, the Bible told us to thank God as we received grace from Him (Deuteronomy16:15, 16:17; Luke 21:1-4). We live by God’s grace both physically and spiritually. Therefore, giving thanks in every circumstance to God is His absolute will. Moreover, God did not cancel the Holy Spirit in us and gave us spiritual gifts. He also taught us to remove all kinds of evil (1 Thessalonians 5:18-22). Therefore, not thanking God means not having grace from Him. If you don’t have any grace or experience to give thanks to Him, you will forget the Holy Spirit in you.

The Holy Spirit moves the hearts of those who received grace from Him. Dear saints, we truly received grace. We still live by grace. We will continue to live by His grace forever. Let’s thank him. Dear Holy Spirit, please let us live in Your utmost grace. Dear saints, let’s thank Him for all the grace in your life. Your soul won’t face eternal death but will inherit the kingdom of God, let’s thank the blood of Jesus Christ. Let’s thank Him for your health and restoration from any sickness. Let’s thank that you were saved from temptations and evil.

Let’s thank him for He will give more blessing, greater power and more grace to you. Before enjoying Thanksgiving Day, Let’s thank Him with heartfelt praise, thanksgiving and offering. For you received grace, salvation and eternal Heaven, let’s confess with your mouth. Let’s give testimony. Let’s show your response of grace unto God.
