God's Love of Salvation in Christian Life

  • 2005.05.10 16:44
God is love. Love comes from God and with life. The Bible testifies God's Words, His love for man. Through the Words He loves, commands, gives life from death. "The Spirit gives life; the flesh counts for nothing. The Words I have spoken to you are spirit and they are life." (John 6:63)

His love is for every human being; it was shown above all His works in human history through the life of Jesus Christ. He came to give human beings life from the death of sins and cure from the curses and diseases; He came to let us live eternally together with Him. (John 3:16)

Without exception people live in the earth under His graceful love. (Genesis 1:26-28) And in spirit we live on His Words. (Matthew 4:4) Therefore just when you recognize and admit that only in His graceful love we are made bodily and spiritually to live, you are proved to have knowledge in who God is and what is the eternal life in Him.

Then check yourself for this question: Do you know and believe in that love, which was confirmed by that blood of Jesus Christ? If not, then you shan't say you are spiritually free from the death despite all those bodily riches- though also based on God's will to give blessings to man- you are enjoying in this world.

We share in us God's will to give His love to those who are kept far off from that life-bringing knowledge and belief in Jesus Christ and off from eternal life but inevitable death. Our love in God is really not just a burdensome duty but a voluntary action from our spiritual conscience of His very practical love in our life, bodily and spiritually. His truly beloved ones are called for sharing that love with others around.

The Christian love practiced by helping people to accept God into their life and to get the deliverance of their soul is the precious right given to human beings but not even to the angels. For believers to love is to help souls get faith and be delivered from the death. The biggest title is 'saving souls' in what ever we do: In contributing to the needy, in helping with power of God people cured from disease, in driving in the name of Jesus out the demons, in expanding the earthly knowledge or culture, in obtaining honors before people and in establishing churches and in worshiping.

Our deed is upwardly thanks-giving to God for His great love and downwardly is delivering the souls from perish. This is what Jesus told us:" Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind" and, "Love your neighbor as yourself." Remember God never allowed an angel the missionary work and never to any other creation in heaven and on the earth but only to humans, so can this be second to no business or enterprise by a man in Him.

Why is this so great an inheritance from God to man then? It is because He considers a soul more precious than the whole world. This greatest mission is rightly given to His own children. The evangelism of Christianity is not to show some kind of power by gathering a huge connection of people like some other gentile religions but is intended to have people recover life from sins and diseases and curses of unfaithfulness.

The bodily desire causes selfish love to fulfill all the earthly needs. But the spiritual love of Jesus Christ causes life through His own sacrifice. (Acts 20:23-24) Whatever they may be, all kinds of earthly love are limited within emotion, mortal humanism or affection of man; and they are only in the boundary of nature's desire or the flesh.

Therefore those earthly loves fades off as body gets older, whatever they may be or however great they may be. Earthly love seeks after earthly things, honor or riches, and requires for the earthly happiness of his body and his bloods but perishes away eventually. All those monuments on the grave are proving those stories of earthly desires and lives. But let's make it clear again, life itself is the greatest value but if you invest your life into those smaller things that helps you with nothing for your life, then how foolish it would be because it will give you just the miserable results at all.( Matthew 16:25-26, Luke 16:19-31, Luke 12:13-21)

Christians invest their own life into saving souls which are far bigger than bodily life or values on earth. As a preacher I am nothing if without the Jesus' love to deliver the souls. And you are simply unfortunate. An evangelist is not a worker for gathering people but a life-bringing messenger. Let's see again why Jesus Christ was put to that extreme trouble of crucifixion. He just wanted to replace the death of every human on His own body: His life and death was totally evangelism. Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ, also did evangelism through His life.

Let us also be an evangelist, help and guide people from the sins and curse and hell to the everlasting life in heavenly kingdom of God.
