The confession of God's favored ones

  • 2009.12.08 15:19

Matthew 8:1-4 God is the Creator. He created the earth and the heavens for His Son, Jesus. He formed man in His own image and likeness to rule over all things. God made man as the supreme work of God (Genesis 1:26-27).

God the Father gave us the law. If we break the law given by God, then we should be punished accordingly. Man ate from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil by the devil's schemes. It meant that they listened to the devil, who destroys, to not obey God. As a result, they were sentenced to death (Genesis 3:4-6, 2:16-17).

The moment human beings die, our souls will be in danger of the fire of hell. But Jesus Christ took away our sins to save us from sin and ruin. He became a righteous and legitimate Savior for us. This is the greatest harvest for us.

Our identity shall be perfectly changed by the blood of Jesus, from those who were dead to those who are alive. From those who are under curses to those who are blessed. From those who are disobedient in eternal hell to those who will inherit the bliss of Heaven eternally (Ephesians 2:1-7). Therefore, God commanded us who are favored like this, through the Bible, to give thanks to Him with all our heart and all our strength.

Dear congregation! We’ve been abundantly given the grace of God. We can now live forever by His special care today, yesterday and even tomorrow. Let’s give thanks to our Savior, Jesus, with all His wonderful deeds! Let’s give thanks to Jesus, who shed His precious blood on the Cross to take away our sin and give us heaven. Let’s give thanks for being delivered from evil spirits and temptation, and for being healed. Let’s testify how much we thank God for the grace through His one and only Son, our sacrifice, given to us!
