The grace from the blood of the Lamb.

1 Peter 1:13-25

God is love. He has abundant love which became grace to us. Unless God loved mankind, we were doomed to perish. So God sent His one and only Son to reveal His love for man, even to the point of letting Him die on the cross. Whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. This is the certainty that God has come and worked for the one who believes in Him.

If you are convinced that other gods have given you grace, and you have made ceremonial bows to them, you are idolaters. Therefore those who have received the Holy Spirit, can’t lose their gratitude for the grace of God. The Feast of Thanksgiving is the expression of our gratitude for receiving such amazing grace.

If we, who have received God’s grace, don’t know the whole measure of His grace and we aren’t grateful, the Lord’s disappointment must be great. Whoever has received God’s grace, wouldn’t be able to forsake Him. We should know and experience His grace and give thanks to Him. This is our faith life.

Most Koreans don’t know exactly where the abundant harvest comes from. For this reason, they stick to the Korean national migration to keep their ancestor-worship ceremony on Chusok, “the Korean Thanksgiving Day” this is wrong handed down from their ancestors.

While they bow and worship idols, let us prepare to give exceeding thanksgiving and service, worshipping and giving thanks only to our Savior, for we know the grace that is the plentiful harvest - Heaven given through the precious blood of His Son Jesus Christ, a lamb without blemish or defect (1 Peter 1:19).
