Freedom, the Inheritance given by Jesus

John 6:47-59

God sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to the world to save human beings from the oppression of sins and to set us free from curses, poverty, diseases, suffering and sorrows. Only Jesus is our Lord and Savior. He didn’t want to rule over the world as a conqueror, but gave Himself as a ransom. “Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped, but made himself nothing, taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled Himself and became obedient to death-even death on a cross!” (Philippians 2:5-8).

He came to die, carrying man’s spiritual and physical suffering in agony. His death and suffering has given us eternal happiness. Even though we, who would’ve been punished with everlasting destruction, were by nature objects of wrath, the sons of the devil and the sons of Hell, by the working of the blood of Jesus Christ, we are saved, and we can call God Abba Father, as we are born again by the Holy Spirit.  “All of us also lived among them at one time, gratifying the cravings of our sinful nature and following its desires and thoughts. Like the rest, we were by nature objects of wrath” (Ephesians 2:3).

It is amazing that the Spirit of God lives in us. This grace was given us because Jesus came in the flesh to bear all our iniquities and impossibilities. The purpose of His coming was to fulfill the promised Word through the Bible.

Whatever the Bible says, therefore, the Word of God has accomplished yesterday, is being fulfilling now and will be achieved tomorrow. This is God’s promise shown in the Bible. The Bible, the Words of God, is the truth and eternal faith.

This is the testimony of believers of Jesus; they are still cleansed by the blood of Jesus, they are healed by the power of the Holy Spirit and they drive out demons in the name of Jesus. Whenever they ask anything in His name, they will be answered. The word of God will surely be accomplished. The Bible had been written by God’s promised words.

Faith in Jesus can’t occur by merely learning its doctrines by heart, but by the confession of their experiences in Jesus; atonement and healing and salvation. This is our faith in the Lord. Believers of Jesus should have these experiences in Him, for we can preach the Gospel boldly and believe confidently by these.

If you are saved by Jesus Christ, you ought to have firm faith in your heart about the shedding of His blood and the tearing apart of His body on the cross to save you. You should be able to manifest your real faith itself in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ. This is our faith - that we have the mark of the shedding His Precious blood.

Dear congregation who are participating in the Lord’s Holy Communion! You should be the one who has true faith, whenever you drink the cup and eat the bread, which are the new covenant in His blood and His body, in remembrance of Him, because Christ paid the cost by bearing our suffering and death by himself for our salvation. Believers of Jesus are to have Jesus’ suffering which is the testimony of our faith in Him. The Lord desires us to declare that we are freed from curses and sins, the eternal punishment of Hell, diseases and death. He desires us to be free forever.
