A Savior Has Been Born

Luke 2:1-14

God so loves the world. The love of God can not be restricted by man’s affection, humanity and emotions, and it never changes. He even gave His only Son, Jesus, to the world. As the wages of sin is death, Jesus had to come to this world in the flesh to die instead of us.

His body was torn apart and He shed his blood on the Cross for our sin problem, so that we could have great Salvation. The wages of sin should be paid by someone’s death, because without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness (Heb 9:22). “Just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many" (Matt 20:28).

He came to Judea to save us, according to His promised word. The moment He was born, our Savior didn’t have any place for Himself but was lain down in a manger. We have lived in more luxury than the Son of God, who came to this world poorly, but we aren’t grateful. We’ve wanted to be lifted up higher than the glory of the Lord.

If you have a faith conscience, you will not be able to welcome Him without tears of repentance, and tears of gratitude. The house where the Lord dwells is not a place built by man, but is an everlasting place in Heaven. All this grace has been fulfilled, not by the means of man, or by the material civilization of this world, but by the practice of the love of God through Jesus Christ.

The incarnation of God represents the holy birth of Jesus Christ and it also became the date of our new birth in Christ. We should have Christ in our hearts, just like He was in the manger, as the Lord of life. We should live as a son of God forever and take His flesh and blood as our eternal food and drink.

Let us preach this good news. Faith doesn't mean morality, but having eternal life with Jesus. "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life" (John 3:16). Jesus is the only way to have eternal life. Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12).

The Lord didn't come to an arrogant royal palace but dwelt in our heart like a manger. We should realize that our hearts are like a manger! Let us receive the Lord Jesus. Let us worship the Son of God, who came as life, together, with the best offering. Let us prove that we have the life of Jesus Christ.
