Matthew 17:14-20

Jesus Christ is able. His almightiness is the best inheritance for human beings. Our bodies and spirits were condemned to suffer and die from our sin, curses, evil spirits and diseases. But Jesus Christ appeared to set us free from our suffering.

In today’s Scripture, there was a man whose child had seizures due to being demon possessed. He suffered greatly, and often fell into the fire or into the water. There is no way for us to be set free from the working of demons which drive us to death. The working of evil spirits in man only cause disease and death.

"On a Sabbath Jesus was teaching in one of the synagogues, and a woman was there who had been crippled by a spirit for eighteen years. She was bent over and could not straighten up at all. When Jesus saw her, he called her forward and said to her, "Woman, you are set free from your infirmity." Then he put his hands on her, and immediately she straightened up and praised God.” (Luke 13:10-13)

Demons are always trying to impact our lives negatively, but we don’t have any way of avoiding this. We are completely helpless. But Jesus Christ came into the world to drive out demons and to heal our diseases. He wants to give us clear and firm faith, because He is the only one who can solve our impossibilities. The only one that demons fear is Jesus (Mark 5:1-15).

When we trust in Him, He becomes our faith. The disciples asked Jesus why they couldn't cast out demons, and He replied that they were of little faith. Our faith should make the Lord work in our impossibilities - this is the ministry of Jesus has almighty power. Jesus told us that our faith is like the seed of a mustard tree - it appears to be small. But if we have a life full of faith, then we can accomplish many miracles.

Dear brothers and sisters! Do you have any impossibilities? You can be immediately freed from your helpless situation by Jesus, just as the demon possessed man in the Scripture. Believing in Jesus is not a religious event! But you can be freed only by faith.
