Sin Should Be Solved First

Matthew 9:1-8

God is righteous, so everything that is against Him is sin. Sin is His enemy, and it is the thing which He detests the most. The first one who sinned and challenged God was one who had been created and loved by God -the one now called the devil (Jude1:6).

The devil deceived the first man, Adam, causing him to eat the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. Since then, the devil has held every man since Adam in his grip, and brings curses and despair into our lives. This is why the devil is our greatest enemy. “He who does what is sinful is of the devil, because the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the devil's work.” (1 John 3:8)

God has dealt with the devil by condemning him to eternal punishment in hell (Matthew 25:41). People who sin by the devil will join him in hell. But Jesus Christ provided the way out from curses and hell for us, by taking up our sins when He died on the cross. This is the greatest blessing ever.

The working of the devil in our lives can be stopped, and we can live blessed and peaceful lives. So, regardless of what sins you may have committed, if you repent and believe that Jesus had taken it away by His suffering on the cross, you can be free. Jesus is the only way for us to accomplish this (John 14:6).

Whoever has been purchased by Jesus has the right to be freed from all the suffering caused by sin. Just as a tree’s branches and fruit grow out from its roots, so all of our suffering grows out from our sin. So we should flee from all our sin, whether they are great or small (Hebrews 12:4).

This will solve all our physical and spiritual problems. The working of the blood of Jesus is the only way the working of the devil can be destroyed. The prophets in the Bible, Jesus, and today’s pastors all tell us to repent. Jesus, our Lord and Savior took up every curse from sin for us. Solve all your suffering right now by repentance. Don’t merely cry because of your unsolved problems, but weep because you suffer due to sin. Take pity on yourself and be freed by Jesus
