Acts 1:8

God is the Creator who made all things in the heavens and on earth. Mankind was doomed to perish due to sin, but God sent Christ Jesus, according to His will, who delivered us and became our Savior. Jesus shed His precious blood and allowed us to become the children of God. “He chose to give us birth through the word of truth that we might be a kind of first fruits of all he created.” James 1:18. The Israelites were elected by Him, but we are born again by His blood, water and the Holy Spirit. Authority will be given to be the children of God - to those who believe in God the Father and His Son Jesus. “Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God.” John 1:12. God sent Jesus to give us this amazing grace, and we sinners should view it as our greatest inheritance. Jesus died on the Cross for the salvation of mankind by shedding His blood. This is the death of our old selves - the giving up our lives of sin. Also eternal life will be given to us. This is the perfect blessing given by His death. This is the providence of God, the work of Christ Jesus and the faith for us; but the devil faces eternal destruction. The world cannot understand this amazing fact, but we know this by faith and are blessed. It proves that we belong to Jesus Christ. See John 14:16-17. The gospel should be preached to the ends of the earth to those who don’t know. Love is the character of God, the life of Jesus and the work of the Holy Spirit. Those who have been loved by God should convey the Jesus’ life completed by God’s love with the Holy Spirit to the ends of the earth. Love can’t stand idly by while souls are dying. God’s sending His Only Son is the practice of His absolute love for us because He could never overlook our destruction. Love doesn’t allow you to spare your life, just as God couldn’t spare His Only Son, for He loves us. Jesus and the disciples couldn’t spare their lives, either. This is spiritual and true love. Christianity can’t be philanthropy. Who can stop this love? There is no one who can restrict or block this love. Have you ever put this love into practice for your neighbors even once? Why do we just stand idly by those who are going to perish due to sin and suffering, and don’t preach this precious good news? Why? Because you don’t realize how great your salvation is and you don’t realize your neighbor will go to hell if he dies today. You don’t understand this reality. We should invest our lives to win souls until our last breath and not overlook even a single person How about we are mistreated or despised by them when we preach the gospel? This world can’t appreciate the gospel for they neither know unless they believe in Jesus they will go to hell nor the Son of God loved them even to the point of death on the Cross because of His love for them, because of their own iniquities and curses. From Jesus to His disciples and the early church members, they were persecuted severely and finally killed by others due to the preaching the gospel. Evangelism can’t be done by our own strength but only by the inspiration and moving of the Holy Spirit we can do it. Inspiration is the heart to obeying and moving is the strength to acting. The working of the Holy Spirit moves true believers to compel to preach the gospel even in many trials and sufferings to deliver souls. Evangelism is the Great Commission of our Lord Jesus and the leading of the Holy Spirit regardless of the circumstances even in persecution. Being persecuted means that you belong to heaven not this world “They are from the world and therefore speak from the viewpoint of the world, and the world listens to them. We are from God, and whoever knows God listens to us; but whoever is not from God does not listen to us. This is how we recognize the Spirit of truth and the spirit of falsehood.” 1 John 4:5-6 No matter how hard try to preach the gospel to unbelievers they usually don’t listen because of the working of the spirit of deception. That’s why we should evangelize with the authority to drive out evil spirits. Let us have this power!
