The two weeks of the Brazil Conference were concluded well. The conference was held in Curitiba and Marilia - one week for pastors and one for church members. In Marilia, newspapers and broadcasting stations reported on the conference. The photo above is from the service in Shalom church, Curitiba.

There was a great interest in the conference from the local newspapers and broadcasting stations.
The schedule was very busy, but local pastors requested for more.
Additional conferences for pastors were opened. And the Holy Spirit strongly flowed over the site.
The Curitiba Conference
Pastor Yoon preached at Bakasheri Church.
On 25th, November at 9:35 pm, our mission team departed from Incheon International Airport. After 11 hours, we arrived in the LA airport and transferred to the plane for Sao Paulo. After 12 more hours of flying, we arrived at Curitiba where the conference would be held. It was 3:20 pm, 26th (Tue), local time.
The original program was to have a service for laypeople on 27th (Wed), and two services for pastors on Friday morning and Saturday morning. However, Pastor Yoon preached four times for pastors starting from Wednesday morning.
On the first day, there were hundreds of pastors gathered for the service in Curitiba. It was the time of repentance for pastors who were poor in spirit through the word of life.
On 27th (Wed), a service for laymen was held at the Curitiba First Baptist Church. Although the church was under construction, Pastor Yoon preached based on Isaiah 53:1-5. People repented while listening to the preaching glorifying God with huge applause and saying Hallelujah!
On 28th (Thu), a morning service for pastors was held at Shalom Church. After the service, they were able to make a reservation for the conference in January 2014.
In the evening, a service for laymen was held in Bakasheri Church which the chairman of the General Council of Brazilian Baptist Churches is pastor. At that service, Pastor Yoon preached based on Mark 1:32 with the title “The Signs that Accompany those who Believe still Continue Today.” The message was about the reason why those signs do not happen these days is because of the sin of distrusting God which disconnects us from God. So repent of sin and trust God entirely.
On 29th (Fri), morning, Pastor Yoon preached at Shalom Church again, based on Mark 10:43. He delivered the feeling of pity that there is no mournful repentance before a service. Additionally, his message included that repentance is the way to pull down the power of God and only the pastor who has the power of the Holy Spirit can lead church members to the right way. Besides, when there was a testimony that a child with high fever was cured, pastors in the service glorified God with great applause.
Three thousand laymen attended the evening service. After preaching, they knelt on the floor and wept repenting of the sins that they had committed in their lives. A number of people gave testimonies.
On 30th (Sat), all programs in Curitiba were finished after the morning service for pastors. And after the Sunday service atShalom Church, our team left to Marilia.

Advertisement regarding the 'Invitation Conference of Pastor Yoon’ was inserted in the largest newspapers. As Marilia was a small city with the population of 200 thousand, the visit of Pastor Yoon became an important issue in the region.
Especially, as the pastors and their wives requested, two more services on Tuesday and Wednesday. The message was about “the service was held because the love of pastors in Marilia toward God” and “I am sure the Holy Spirit was touched by your holy passion.”
And local pastors received a great grace. One of pastors drove 2700 km for three days and nights to attend the conference.
The conference for laypeople, as the united assembly of the churches of Marilia, was held at the Marilia First Baptist Church (Pastor Domingus) and the gymnasium in Marilia with thousands in attendance.
At present, all Brazilians are very excited about the World Cup in Brazil next year. Therefore, most people responded with great excitement whenever Pastor Yoon mentioned about soccer. Pastor Yoon strongly emphasized that the salvation of Jesus should make them more excited and keener than the soccer game and samba festival. The site was full of holy waves and heartfelt repentance during the preaching.

Pastor Yoon received an ‘Appreciation plaque’ from the vice-president of Marilia at the conference.
One of pastor Yoon’s books, ‘Being Led by the Holy Spirit’ has been published in Portuguese. Hundreds of copies of the book were sold after the conference. Marilia TV had an interview with Pastor Yoon and broadcast it on TV at 6 pm, Tuesday. The whole conference will be televised as well.
During the conference in the gymnasium at Marilia, the vice-president of the city officially gave Pastor Yoon VIP treatment and delivered an ‘Appreciation plaque’.
