The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance (2 Peter 3:8~9). With prayer, the word of God, and being filled with the Holy Spirit, we should be ready to participate first resurrection. We should spread the gospel to those who are perishing by not knowing Jesus and living under sin and making Jesus come back earlier. The Lord is asking if I am living like this, with His sincere love toward me.
