When you wait for somebody, the time goes by so slowly and you keep looking at your blameless watch. However, on Sunday when we wait for newcomers, when the bell rings to announce the start of worship, we run here and there to find the one who is attending the service in other chapels or to check whether the person came to attend the service or to share the announcements. The earnest time of waiting for them passes by in a moment. There is a new and wonderful chair in our church. I will wait for the day when all the saints of our church sit in the empty chair and worship the Lord.
