The country women’s hands, which are working hard, are carefully lifting the garlic for fear of damaging them. The garlic seeds planted last year have grown plump and full and are gathered. As we look forward to the bulbs, when the light purple of buds are out, we prepare for heaven expecting the time of soul when we can meet the Lord with service and prayer, working and serving. That’s why every single day that we can work hard is precious and valuable.
