[Shepherding the sheep with One heart] God's Uncompromising judgment!

God judges those who are ungodly. The Bible repeatedly emphasizes “godliness” to warn a unsparing judgment for the ungodly. Jude Chapter1 verse15 says, “to judge everyone, and to convict all of them of all the ungodly acts they have committed in their ungodliness, and of all the defiant words ungoldy sinners have spoken against him.”

Godliness is the attitude of respecting and fearing God and living according to the will that pleases Him most. God’s pleasing will for us is living for His glory. Therefore, even if we got a hundred times of life, we should spend all of them living in fear and godliness before the Lord. To live godly is the creature’s mission toward the Creator God.

The scripture said that God judges the ungodly meanning that God would cut off the expectation that such a person would bring Him glory, receive His love, or show Him honor. Ungodly behavior is a offense that disappoints God that results His drastic actions.

The ungodly one have no way to survive before God. The Bible tells us how God destroyed the ungodlies as a warning that urges us to repent. “if he did not spare the ancient world when he brought the flood on its ungodly people, but protected Noah, a preacher of righteousness, and seven others; if he condemned the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah by burning them to ahses, and made them an example of what is going to happen to the ungodly; and if he recued Lot, a righteous man, who was distressed by the depraved conduct of the lawless (2 Peter2:5~7). In days of Noah, God drowned the ungodly people in the flood. He even judged the people of Sodom and Gomorrah with fire.
