Meek means that your personality and attitude are gentle and sweet. When somebody tells you that your attitude and habits are wrong, listening to him humbly and correcting yourself demonstrates that you are meek. When you become aware of, and correct, your faults, an area of your life expands.
The word “Meek” in the sight of God means that we obey God with delight, not disobeying, no matter what he says. To be meek means “Do not be against the word of God with your human thoughts, do not disobey the thought of God and do not hurt the heart of God.”
The meek take the word of God as it is, so their minds are open wide and areas of their life expands.
The sermon that a pastor delivers in the church is to persuade people who disobeyed the word of God to turn to God immediately while helping them discover their sins. We must realize our sins while listening to the word of God and must try to be meek by finding the ways in which we are not meek in the sight of God. To realize means that we regret not obeying God in the past. Receiving grace means that we realize our own shortage and solve it with God’s help.
When you disobey God, God doesn’t listen to your prayer. Disobeying the word of God causes you to turn away from God. God continues to urge you now through the Bible and the sermon of a pastor. If you still disobey God, God will not answer, no matter how much you call Him.
It is no use to ask for help from God while struggling and begging. The most fearful thing is to defy God. We never go against God but fully obey God under His control to receive a blessing.
