People claim that they themselves are right with their own measuring stick. However, there is no fairness in man- made standard. Only the standard of God, who is just and without injustice, is fair forever. Therefore, God must reward you for your life to live for the Lord and gospel. God never changes His word. God is our faith because He surely repays us with His gentleness and love as He said.
When we see ourselves through our own standard, not through the Bible, we will be certainly arrogant. Everybody is very generous to themselves. Also, we judge others by our own standard because we evaluate the world by our own standard
The Bible is the only measuring stick and criteria when we stand before God on the Judgment day. If you do not repent of the days where you have lived against the word of God, you will go to hell, which is unquenchable fire, for the wages of sins. The Word of God is the best line of defense which guards us not to commit sins. Therefore, we must not be afraid of being judged by the world’s standard on the earth but protect ourselves by living a life of faith according to the word of God who is judge.
The Lord said, “Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you. (Matthew5:10~12)
God has given us the Bible, which is a good lesson, while hoping we and our descendants go well.
When the word of God overpowers and rules us in us, it forms our behavior, words and thoughts just like His character and personality.
We must think all the words in the Bible, “Do or do not” the best lesson. We will be blessed when you live according to the word. I hope you win a victory in your lifetime by living as you learn from the Bible although you face persecution and temptation.
