A couple takes wedding vows when officiating at their wedding is over. The officiator asks a bride “Do you, the bride, love your husband and respect him, and keep faithful to him no matter how you are happy or worried or painful even the death is upon you? Then the bride answers “Yes.”
We, who are brides of the Lord, also have to keep the wedding vows to Jesus Christ. Whether you are in pain or pleasure, sick or distressed, even to the point of death, you must wait for the second coming of Jesus, a groom, with love doing the right thing of faith to the last.
There shall be terrible times in the last days. People can’t deal with this kind of pain. If the pain is upon us all of sudden, it is a sign that the day of the Lord comes near. Therefore, we have to wait for the Lord longing for him even more earnestly. Even if you think he is slow to come, we should not give up waiting for Him or being tired.
We must keep walking by faith not being fickle and control our joys and sorrows so that God can be pleased the most for the Lord and our time of the soul. When you stand a little further, the Lord will come. But if you are fallen by the spirit of deception since you didn’t stand at the last moment, how terrible and misfortune it is?
In the book of Matthew 3:12, “His winnowing fork is in his hand, and he will clear his threshing floor, gathering his wheat into the barn and burning up the chaff with unquenchable fire.” In the last days, the Lord will separate those who have a faith of bride from those who forsook the fidelity of the faith, like separating the grains from the chaff by winnowing them. Therefore, we have to be alert and make the days of suffering days of eternal joy by the power of the Lord.
