There are some people living being shackled by physical desire even in the church. They eat good food and wear expensive clothes and spend money like water since they are rich. They think that’s the best. Such people don’t listen to the voice of God. It’s because they in the flesh are hard and tired of listening to the voice of God and praying. They try to end their lives satisfied with worldly things by getting power and fame and wealth.
But spiritual people know very well that the desire of his soul will not be filled with worldly things but only with the things from God. Such people don’t look for wealth and prosperity. They rather long for the godly things that God will grant and overcoming the temptation of the world and they pray for the power to God to rule the world according to the will of God. It’s because they know God has the authority to rule everything in the world in the power of God.
Spiritual people struggle to pray to live honestly according to the word of God, according to spiritual characteristics before God. They pray earnestly to live with eternal life provided by GOD for the time of the soul. They know they will be hungry and poor spiritually if they don’t pray. They try to refrain from saying when they meet worldly people. It’s because they don’t want to be disturbed in their spiritual life which they have a relation with God. After you had a long conversation with worldly people, you also are soaked into the character of the world without knowing.
The character of the world must not be appeared in Christians, who believe in Jesus.
