[Shepherding the sheep with one heart] The Power of the Word of God

Somebody goes to a restaurant. There are different menus and different prices in the restaurant. But, even though there is lots of different food on the menu, you can’t eat the food if you don’t have money. The power to buy food is money. If you don’t have the money, you can’t put any food in your mouth. A rich man doesn’t care about the price of the food, but chooses his favorite food and eats it. He has the power to own the food.

The word of God is a weapon with which we can have victory in battle.
How unfortunate are the people who don’t use the word of God after listening to it!
We must not idle away the time of the flesh, wasting our lives no matter what happens. We have to live the time of the flesh while being completely occupied by God.
When we are completely captured by God, we can overcome sins, diseases, worldly desire and the boasting of what we have and do.

There is power in the word of God. There is power to occupy us. Many people repent from their sins. There are some people who can’t tell if it’s the word of God, or if it’s from Confucius, or from Mencius or if it’s about ethics or morals after listening to the word of God. A good lesson from the world can’t save my soul from sins, curses, death and hell and it can’t lead me to the kingdom of God. The kingdom of God can’t come upon us by it. Only the word of God must reign totally in us. Although we live in this world, we must live according to the law of God in heaven. This is why God gave us the word of God. The children of God must live by the word of God every single day.

He replied, “When evening comes, you say, ‘it will be fair weather, for the sky is red.’ and in the morning, “today it will be stormy, for the sky is red and overcast.’ You know how to interpret the appearance of the sky, but you cannot interpret the signs of the times.(Matthew 16:2~3)

When we see the things that were prophesied by the Holy Spirit being fulfilled, we must be able to know if we are living in the age of the rising sun or the age of the setting sun. He who is able to know the age in which we live knows the will of the Lord.
