[Shepherding the sheep with One heart] By being rash, you could get fail.

2 Timothy 3 says “There will be terrible times in the last days. People will be rash.” Rash has meaning of becoming reckless, hasty, impatient, and careless.

When some people get sick, they blame God by being rash and worrying that they might go wrong. “How could God do this to me if He is really alive?” Why do you make me suffer?” However, God never inflict on anyone. Inflicting on people is the works of the Devil, Satan, and evil spirits. But many people get rash and blame God for all the causes of pain forgetting that God protects and guides themselves in fact, since beginning of their lives.

God said “You must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat of it you will surely die.” But the Devil said to the woman “You will not surely die. When you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.” When the woman saw that the fruit of the tree was good for food and pleasing to the eye, and also desirable for gaining wisdom. And she was rash to eat of it so she took some and ate it. She also gave some to her husband. When you are deceived by the Devil like this, you will become lacking in judgement by being rash.

By being impatient, King Saul ended up dying in misery. The Israelites must offer sacrifices to God right before wars against Philistines. Saul waited seven days for the prophet Samuel who was supposed to offer sacrifices. But he didn’t come. All the troops with Saul were afraid of the Philistines and began to run away. So, Saul himself offered up the burnt offering instead of Samual by becoming rash. He commited an arrogation in doing the work of a priest. Saul was rejected as king of Israel by God since he disobeyed a God’s command. (1Samuel 13:8~15)

Rashness causes you to forget the God’s promise. Even when you encounter the impossible situations, you shall not forget God's promise because of rashness, but wait for God who will work for you.
