The Bible says that people love pleasure rather than loving God in the last days(2 Timothy 3-4). In nowadays, every person agree that it’s the end of the world. In this timing, we should delight in the joy from God rather than seeking pleasure which satisfies only the lust of the flesh. You should know that the Devil set up scheme to make you do sin though your bodily desire to destroy your soul in a moment,little by little, unnoticeably. The Bible says, 'The widow who is really in need and left all alone puts her hope in God and continues night and day to pray and to ask God for help. But the widow who lives for pleasure is dead even while she lives.(1Timothy 5:5-6)' The widows put hope in the Lord and consider God as their bridegroom uses her situation as a godly opportunity and devotes herself to the life of faith praying to God day and night, even though they are lonely to live without family. However, the Bible says ‘you have a reputation of being alive, but you are dead (Revelation 3:1)’ to those who love enjoying worldly pleasures more than believing in the Son of God, forgiveness of sins, salvations and getting into heaven speaking that they believe in the Bible. When you fall into the pleasure of the world, your soul will be dead even though your flesh may survive. Therefore, we should turn away from the pleasure of the world. James 5:1 says, 'Now listen, you rich people, weep and wail because of the misery that is coming on you.', meaning that those who use their wealth for living in luxury and enjoying physical pleasure will weep and wail in future. James 5:5 says, 'You have lived on earth in luxury and self-indulgence. You have fattened yourselves in the day of slaughter.' A butcher waits until domesticated animals get fat enough to eat them. Likewise, the people who live in luxury and enjoy worldly pleasure are like the livestock that stand in a queue at the slaughterhouse. This will be most cursed situation for them in spiritual viewpoint. What else will be worse than this? We should be the one who hope for the time of soul with godly joy, given by God, not the one who get destroyed by the earthly pleasure.
